Amy and Kim get married

Congratulations from the team at Bruny Island Coastal Retreats to Amy & Kim on their marriage. They held their wedding ceremony and reception at Bruny Island Lodge at April 4th, 2017. Following the legalization of same sex marriage in Australia in December 2017, Amy and Kim together with family and friends returned to Bruny Island exactly one year after their first wedding and were joined together in legal matrimony.

Cloudy Bay was initially named l’baie Mauvaise by French explorer Bruni D'Entrecasteaux in 1792, after 1822 it was marked on the maps of the time as Bad Bay, and after 1859 became known as Bad or Cloudy Bay.
